Pregnancy Prayer List Update

It is way past due for an Update from the Pregnancy Prayer List! So here goes.

Our first baby is Annalyn Marie. She was born on April 3, 2012. Congratulations to Tina and Steve and Big Brother Andrew! Steve is my nephew and I took care of him when he was little! I get to see pictures on Facebook and she is just beautiful! I am so excited for them and look forward to meeting little Miss Annalyn very soon!

Next I would like to congratulate Crystal on the birth of her son Charlie Bastian. Charlie was born on June 11, 2012 at 6:35 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. I am so happy and excited for Crystal because she has traveled a long difficult road to bring a baby home. She has three sweet babies in Heaven. Please stop by her blog and congratulate her and her husband Louie!

Georgiann is next on the list. She welcomed her 8th child, Ian Matthew on June 12, 2012 at 9:34 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. Congratulations to Georgiann and her family on this wonderful addition! Stop by her blog to congratulate them!

Next is Ava Kate. She is the new daughter of my niece Melissa. Ava was born on June 13, 2012 at 8:29 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 12.6 ounces and was 19 inches long. Ava has a big sister named Ella. This is another sweet baby I am hoping to see very soon! Congrats Melissa, Nathan and Ella. She is beautiful and I can't wait to hold her!

Next is Holly's baby, Evanee Graycen. Evanee was born on June 18, 2012 at 1:07 am. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Most of you probably know Holly through the blogging world. She has reached out to so many of the Mamas in the Baby Loss Community. She has definitely been a Blessing to so many even through her own grief. This is Holly's second Rainbow baby since her sweet Carleigh was born into the Arms of Jesus over three years ago. Congratulations to Holly and Anthony and big sisters! Visit Holly's blog to congratulate them!

Last on the list is Robin.She gave birth to Zachary Stephen on June 19, 2012 at 8:35 am. He weighed 8 pounds even and was 20.5 inches long. Robin is my cousin's daughter. I babysat Robin when she was little as well! Unfortunately Robin lives on the other side of the country, so I have no idea when I will ever get to meet her 3 boys!

Congratulations to Robin and Dan and Big Brothers Nathan and Caleb!

Actually, if you look over at the list on the right side bar, all of these ladies have given birth. So, do you know what that means? That list is going to be empty.

So, If you or someone you know is expecting and would like to be added to the list please let me know. Just leave a comment or send me an email. I would be delighted to pray for you.

Congratulations Again To Each Of These Families!

Pregnancy Prayer List Update ~ Welcome Bethany Joy

I am always excited to share the news of the arrival of new babies with you, but I have great personal interest in this one. I would like for you to meet my great-niece, Bethany Joy.

Bethany was born on July 21,2010 at 6:50 p.m. weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. Her proud parents are my nephew Jonathan and his wife Rachel.  I had the pleasure of attending Jon and Rachel's Wedding last July. They are so sweet together.

A very proud Daddy with his baby girl!

I hear that Jonathan is in love with his sweet new daughter and doesn't want to put her down.

They announced at Christmas that they were expecting. When I heard the news I cried with Joy! You see, Jon was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 3. He spent 3 years doing Chemotherapy and spent those 3 years being pretty sick. One of the side effects from Chemo can be infertility. As you can see, God had plans for Bethany to be here! God is so good!

Rachel recently started a new blog, so you can go here and pay her a visit.

I will have the pleasure of meeting Miss Bethany next month. I can't wait to get my hands on her! Well, that is if Jon will let me have a turn!

Congratulations Rachel and Jon! She is beautiful and we love you all!

Update: After I had this post ready to go up, I learned that Bethany has Jaundice and was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Rachel's facebook status this morning was that Bethany's bilirubin count has come down and her weight has gone up, so she probably will be able to go home tomorrow. Please keep them in your prayers and that Bethany can go home soon!

Pregnancy Prayer List Update

I have been really busy the past week and have not had a chance to post. I will share more about what has been going on in our busy lives soon, but I wanted to let everyone know about a precious new baby.

Many of you probably already know about Franchesca. Her first baby Jenna Belle entered Heaven on May 18,2009. Franchesca has shared about her experience with expecting her Rainbow baby while mourning the loss of Jenna Belle at the same time on her blog Handprints From Heaven and her other blog Letters to My Baby Boy.

On Monday May 3, 2010, Franchesca gave birth to her Rainbow baby, Joseph. He weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces. What a terrific size for a baby born at 35 weeks!  Baby Joseph is doing well and such a sweet miracle! You can visit Franchesca and see the beautiful pictures of Joseph for yourself here.

Congratulations to Franchesca and her husband on their sweet little miracle!

Pray With Me

This post has been forming in my head for several days. I often find it difficult to get enough time to sit and write a post that makes any sense!

As a mother that has lost a child, I have found many women here in the blogging community that have walked a similar path. I have also encountered many women IRL( in real life)that have lost a child.

At Faith's Service, I had two women that came up to me and shared their experiences with me. I had no idea that they hade walked this path. I could still see the pain in their eyes as they shared their stories with tears rolling down their cheeks. For one of them their loss happened probably over 50 years ago.

Losing a child is a painful experience. I felt like someone reached in and ripped my heart right out of my chest.The pain is not quite so raw anymore, but I am sure that it will never totally go away. I guess I do not want it to totally go away so that I will always remember her.

Before I started blogging, I was reading blogs that dealt with the loss of a child. My heart ached for these people and I had no idea that I would become one of them.

At times I have become overwhelmed with the number of women that have lost a child. I have often wondered if more women are losing babies these days, but I have come to the realization that due to advanced technology, we have instant access to information from all over the world.

I am still overwhelmed by the numbers and my heart is broken. I believe that Satan is trying to steal, kill, and destroy what God has created. I believe that there is an attack on unborn babies. .

I fervently believe that pregnant women and their unborn babies need to be kept in prayer. I believe that God laid this on my heart and this is how the Pregnancy Prayer List got started here on my blog.

Let me be the first to say that I am no one special, and I am not a perfect person. I am just a willing vessel.I strive to be more like Jesus everyday and honor Him in all I do. Believe me, I do fail tremendously!

God does not always answer our prayers in the way we expect, but I will continue to pray.

One example is of a precious mother that asked to be put on the Pregnancy Prayer List only to have a miscarriage a few days later. Would you please pray for her? This is her third loss in just a few months. She really needs to be lifted up at this time.

There are mother's on the Pregnancy Prayer List now that have experienced loss before. There are some that are expecting their Rainbow babies. With this brings new hope, but also I am sure it brings along a certain amount of anxiety. They too could use your prayers right now! I pray as they go through their pregnancies that that God will give them healthy full term babies. I also pray that they can lean on Him and He will bring them peace and comfort along the way.

At least one of the ladies on the list is expecting their first child. There comes great excitement and expectation with your first. She could use you prayers too.

With each one of these women I also pray that God will supply all their needs. That He will Bless them abundantly and bring resources that they did not know even existed!

There have been a couple of women that have said that they would pray for these ladies along with me. Would you please consider taking time in your busy life and pray for these dear ladies? I know that they would appreciate it and it would mean a lot to me as well.

Please remember that if you are pregnant or know someone who is and would like to be added to the list, please leave a comment or email me at onhavingfaith@gmail.com . If you would like for me to pray for you but not be added to the list on the blog, I would be honored to do that also.

May God richly bless each of you!

Update on the Pregnancy Prayer List And More About Isaiah 26:3-4

I would like to congratulate Hannah on the birth of her new son, Brennan McCartney. Brennan was Born February 1, 2010, weighing 9 pounds and measuring 22 inches long. The report is that mother and baby are doing well!

Hannah is the sister to my new daughter-in-law, Naomi. She traveled by car, from Wisconsin to Kentucky with her husband and young son to the wedding at 36 weeks pregnant! She was the matron of honor. There was also another pregnant lady in the wedding . Bethany, a good friend of Naomi, is just a few weeks behind Hannah. It was quite sweet seeing them walk down the aisle!

Congratulations Hannah, Tyler, and big brother Will!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would like to thank those of you who responded to my last post. I enjoyed reading each of your thoughts on Isaiah 26:3-4.  I also had a few responses from friends on facebook.
What I believe God is saying to me is I need to keep my mind stayed on Him in everything! Even in the mundane things in life. You know when we surrender our lives over to God we are to surrender every part of our lives. That means Everything!
When we watch TV, read a book, visit with friends, shop,care for our families, etc, we are to keep our focus on the Lord. Is that TV show something God would have you watch? Is that book something that is honoring to Him? Do you keep your talk wholesome when you are talking with friends? When you shop are you spending your money wisely, and being a good steward of what God has given you? When caring for your family, are you doing it with the Love of God in your heart and and doing it with a loving attitude and a servant's heart.
Let me be the first to say, No I do not always do these things this way. It is a constant battle of my will versus God's will . I get tired. I lose my focus. I get busy in the things of life that I forget to add God into the equation. That is when I start to find my home becoming chaotic and I am fretting about something. This is when I get completely discouraged and fall flat on my face. I need Him in my everyday life! I am nothing without Him and I need to feel His Peace in my Life!
As we learn to keep our minds on Him we will find Peace. As we strive to be in His will, we will find Peace. As we trust in Him, we will find Peace.
Through a conversation on Facebook ,the one thing that stood out to me was something someone said. It was finding Peace through Trust. Think about it, we will find Peace as we Trust in Him!
I do not know about you, but I certainly want to have His my Peace in my life!
Verse 4 goes on to say To trust in the Lord Forever, for He is our Everlasting Strength. So that means trusting Him = Strength! I very much want and need His Everlasting Strength.  How about you?
Just Catching Up
It seems as though I have been spending the Month of January just trying to catch up. Really I feel like I am trying to keep my head above water!
The Wedding being on January 2nd and being so close to Christmas just knocked me out of whack! This is just  the first of 10 to get married, so I need to get a handle on this.
I have been trying very hard to keep the children moving along with their schoolwork. Of course when there is a hint of snow they are asking nicely begging for a day off! Since we do not get a lot of snow here in Kentucky, I will usually let them play if there is any snow to play in!
I had all these great intentions of starting the new year with some positive changes in my life. Well, January is almost over and I haven't started yet! I have been disappointed in myself and a bit discouraged. Well, it finally hit me! It is OK that I didn't start on January 1st and I do not have to wait until next year! I can start today!  So, as for my read thru the Bible in One Year Program that starts on January 1st, it starts today! January 25th is going to be day 1!
There are other things I would like to accomplish too! I want to work on eating better and I need to exercise regularly! I have a bit of weight to lose and I have trouble with High Blood Pressure as well as being Prediabetic. I have got to get it together. I have a strong family history of diabetes.
I know with God's Help I can accomplish these things!  What a Joy to know that he will help me and guide me along the way! I know that it won't be easy and I might feel like giving up, but as I ask for his help, he will be there to help me on my journey!
I look forward to what God has in store for this coming year!
On a different note, have you noticed the Pregnancy Prayer List is growing? Wow! God is so Good! It seems in blogland that there are many expecting mommies! Can you take some time and pray for these ladies also? They need God's hand of protection upon them! There is one mommy listed here for January, so she should be due anytime. Please be in prayer for her!
Another Praise from the Pregnancy Prayer List
Another beautiful baby has been born! I have received word that Muffy has had a baby boy. Thaddaeus Hosea was born on December 8,2009 weighing 6 pounds 8 ounces. Let's Praise God together for a safe delivery! Congratulations Muffy!
The Pregnancy Prayer List is getting smaller. If you are pregnant or know someone who is, please send  me an email or leave me a comment so that I can add you to the list. There are other ladies that join in with me to pray for these Expectant Mommies.
I really believe that Expectant Moms need to be covered in prayer. There seems to be so many with problems or complications. This is something that is near and dear to my heart. Let's join in together and keep these ladies covered in prayer.
An Update From The Pregnancy Prayer List
Update: Ange has updated her blog and has pictures too!  Stop by and see her beautiful babies!
I have heard from a friend of Ange's that she gave birth to her twins girls by c-section on Friday or Saturday. She said that one of the girls was about 4 1/2 pounds and the other was over 5 pounds. From what I hear, the babies are doing well, but will probably be in the hospital for 1-2 weeks! Praise God for these precious new lives!
Could you all go over to Ange's blog and leave her a sweet note of encouragement. I know that she would really appreciate it. I suspect that she will not be blogging very much for a while, but I look forward to seeing pictures of those precious baby girls! Please Pray that they will grow healthy and strong quickly. Please also pray for Ange as she recovers from a c-section and jumps into the role of mother to 9 plus newborn twins!
Quick Update
The first baby has been born from our Pregnancy Prayer List.
Kristina had a baby boy on Friday morning weighing 7lb. 7oz.  I hear that mother and baby are doing well. Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!
The ironic thing is that this poor Mommy had to be on bed rest for 11 weeks due to preterm labor. She was finally let out of bed a few weeks before her due date. She ended up being overdue about 2 weeks! Not Fun! But God is good and the outcome is so wonderful!
Please remember to keep these other Expectant Mommies in your prayers. I know they appreciate it very much!
