I officially started on April 7th. Yes, that was a Wednesday! I usually start a diet on a Monday. I was planning on starting that Monday, but did not have a chance to go to the grocery store to get the things I needed. I was thinking that I would just wait until the following Monday, but then I decided that since I had gotten myself mentally prepared, I better just go for it!
The first week I lost 3 pounds. The second week I lost 4 pounds. On Wednesday when I weighed in, I had lost 1 pound. I was a little disappointed, but at least it was a loss and not a gain. That makes it 8 pounds lost in 3 weeks. Not too bad. Now only 72 more to go!
Now I really need to get moving! So little motivation on my part, for exercising, but I know it will help the scales move in the desired direction!

Sounds like your doing great. I know when you first start you always lose than it starts to slow down a bit. I'm praying for you. I walk a little over 4 miles 5 days a wk. I am trying hard to now if the weather would just straighten up here. We had a inch of snow this wk and last. That doesn't help !! :)

Great job. I will pray for you with the exercise and you pray for me too. I was exercising for about 4 weeks and then I just stopped. Need to get motivated again.
Congratulations!!! I am Rejoicing with you! But envious too -- my weight seems stuck for good. It doesn't want to budge. :(
