Rainy Days And Mondays...........

Today we woke up to a dark, dreary, rainy day. Mondays have always been kind of hard for me and then add in the rain and I am ready to go back to bed! Kind of like that song that says "Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down."

Sundays are usually quite busy around here and I get worn out! It takes us about 30-40 minutes to get to church. Our children are involved in JBQ and TBQ and the teens are involved with the youth. We also go to church on Wednesday nights for Youth, Royal Rangers, and Impact Girls.

At least 2 Sundays a month I leave the house at 9:30 am and do not return until 9:45 pm. Hubby brings the younger children home after church, but I hang out "in town" to stay with the older children. The other Sundays I get home a bit earlier, like around 5pm. Anyway, the long day wears me out!

By nature, I am not a morning person. Then waking up to a dreary day just makes me want to crawl back into bed. On top of this dreary weather, some of my children are not feeling too well. Headaches, sore throats and low grade fevers seem to be going around. I need to keep an eye on them because we seem susceptible to strep around here. Today is a wash on schoolwork, so I guess we will just take it easy.

While driving my daughter to work this morning, I heard this song and it gave me hope for today. I have always loved this song and it really ministers to me. In Christ Alone, I place My Trust! My Source of Strength and My Source of Hope is In Christ Alone! For Only By His Grace I am Redeemed! In Christ Alone!

I pray that you are having a Marvelous Monday and that your source of Hope and Strength are In Christ Alone!

In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I’ve been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I’ll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to the grace by which I stand

In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the glory of my Lord

In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

Wow we are having a Monday like you. My 3 little ones are all taking a nap right now and they all have a cough and low grade fever. It is dreary outside and i just want to lay in bed all day. Tomorrow will be better.
