Just A Quick Update

Sorry I haven't been on here much recently. Life seems like a whilrlwind right now, and I sort of feel like I am just holding on for dear life.

I have 8 kids participating in the musical at our church. This year they made it into two musicals and divided it into younger kids and older kids. I have four in each group. That has made for a very busy schedule! Last week I had to have kids to the Church by 6 pm each night. It made it quite interesting to have dinner each night. Performances started on Friday night. The younger kids performed on Friday and the older kids performed on Saturday.

We had a busy Sunday but we had a break from the musical. This week we have Monday and Tuesday off, which I am taking advantage on getting things caught up around here. The Laundry is about to overtake us!  I am also trying to get things organized for school. I was hoping to get started this week with school, but we are just not ready.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had asked for prayer for my Sister in law Debbie recently. Saturday night God called her Home. Could you please keep my brother Rick in your prayers? He and his four children need God's comfort right now. I am so torn because they are in Virginia and I am in Kentucky. I am trying to figure out how to get there for a couple of days for her Funeral. My family means the world to me! I hate not being there with them right now. Debbie is going to be so missed. She had such a sweet spirit and loving heart.
I probably will not be on here much this week either so I can get some things accomplished. I also might be traveling and we have more musical rehearsals and performances this week as well. I hope to be back just as soon as I can!
I'm praying for you all & hoping you get things all worked out.
So sorry to hear about your sister in law. I know the feeling of wanting to be somewhere and not leaving the family. I'm praying always for you and hope soon things calm down for you. Know God is watching over all of you wherever you are.
Oh Karen I am so sorry. I will pray for the family during this time. Praying for you too as you decide what to do and how to get there. You are a wonderful woman the Lord will show you what to do. Thanks for letting us in during this time.
Karen
when things like this happen it is a reminder to us how short our lives really are. James 4:14"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
Praise the Lord that we will walk in the gates of heaven hand in hand one day!
Kelly sent us here to say "Hi". I'm sorry about the loss of your baby daughter and your most recent loss of your SIL. Faith is a beautiful baby and your family seems wondeful. (((HUGS)))
Karen...forgive me if my comment was insensitive...mentioning that you are being featured on WWY after you shared such heart wrenching news regarding the loss of your sister-in-law. It is really tugging at my heart. I clicked the comment button before I could edit myself. I'm so sorry...your family is heavy on my heart and in my prayers.
Love to you...
Thinking about you and your family knowing the feelings of loss are still there.
I hope the musical craziness went well. How special that you have so many talented children sharing their gifts with others! You have a wonderful family to be very proud of.
